American Express today announces a five-night dinner series (May 16-20, 2022) with noma, the Copenhagen, Denmark restaurant named #1 in the world for 2021 by the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants organization. The dinners, brought to you by the American Express Platinum Card®, will take place at 26 Bridge Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 27 at 12pm ET at resy.com/noma-new-york.
American Express Members Card enrolled chance in Global Dining Access by Resy will have the rare to experience the singular cuisine of noma in New York City. Under the leadership of Danish chef and owner René Redzepi – who will be present for the entire series – noma has become known for its focus on unique seasonal ingredients brought to life in creative and complex ways on the plate. The menu for the dinner series will be a multi-course tasting menu of classic noma dishes inspired by spring with a wine pairing selected by the noma team.
The landmarked event location, 26 Bridge Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn, will be transformed to honor the minimalist, contemporary aesthetic of noma’s Copenhagen location and the design will bring nature into the dining room through greenery and natural wood. Originally a metal works foundry built in 1912, today 26 Bridge Street maintains some of its original brick and steel elements and its façade contributes to the architectural character of the DUMBO Historic District.
“Noma is looking forward to traveling to New York this spring to share our cooking and craft with some of the most passionate diners in the world,” says René Redezepi, Chef and Owner of Noma. “It is incredibly rare that we take noma’s kitchen on the road for a collaboration, but American Express has been a longtime partner and we look forward to honoring that relationship through this special event.”
“We are thrilled to bring a truly unique noma dining experience from Copenhagen to New York for American Express Platinum Card Members,” said Emma Cambol, Vice President, American Express US Platinum and Centurion Products. “The intimate dinner series is part of Global Dining Access’ exclusive benefits and another way we are curating access to the best restaurants from around the world.”
