In honor of Black History Month, the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut will host a special YPSocial + Business After Hours at Mystic Seaport Museum. Guests will have an exclusive viewing of “A Spectacle in Motion: The Grand Panorama of a Whaling Voyage ‘Round the World.” Akeia de Barros GomesSenior Curator of Maritime Social Histories, will give a brief introduction to the exhibition and discussion on diversity within the whaling industry and the experiences of Black men employed at sea during this time.

Connecticut Water has earned the 2022 Top Workplaces USA award.
